Afghanistan
Before the Taliban's takeover in 2021, there were two types of national elections in Afghanistan which are:
Parliamentary: occurs every 5 years. The first election was held in 1931 and the last one was in 2019.
Presidential: occurs every 5 years. The first election was held in 2004 and the last one was in 2019.
