There is one type of national election in Bangladesh which is:
Parliamentary: occurs every 5 years. The first election was held in 1973 and the last one was in 2018.
Presidential: occurred every 4 years. The first election was held in 1978 and the last one was in 1986. There is no presidential election in Bangladesh anymore.
